These terms cover this website and the way Perth Stone Protection ("we", "us") works. Perth Stone Protection is a registered Western Australian business, ABN 95 629 350 579. For any individual job, two documents sit above these terms: your quote, and your signed warranty certificate. Where they say something more specific, they win.
Quotes
Quotes are fixed, itemised and valid for 30 days. They're prepared from the photos, measurements and information you provide, and they stay fixed for the scope they describe. If the surface we find on the day is materially different from what was provided (different sizes, undisclosed damage, a different stone), we'll tell you before any work starts and before anything changes, and you're free to walk away at no cost.
Bookings and access
On install day we need reasonable access to the property and the surfaces clear of appliances and belongings. If you need to move or cancel a booking, tell us as early as you can and we'll rebook without drama.
Payment
Payment terms are set out in your quote. No hidden extras: the number on the quote is the number, subject only to the scope point above.
The warranty
Every installation carries a 12-month film warranty covering yellowing, cracking, blistering, delamination and adhesion failure, with exclusions for wear, misuse, cuts, impact and heat beyond normal kitchen use. Your signed warranty certificate is the governing document; the full terms are on it and summarised on our care & warranty page. The certificate's exclusions are shown to you before you pay.
Your part
The aftercare is small and it matters: nothing on the surface for the first 48 hours, everyday cleaning with a microfibre cloth and mild dish soap, none of the products we ask you to avoid, and trivets under cookware straight off the heat. Damage caused by skipping those isn't a film failure.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that can't be excluded. Our services come with guarantees that can't be excluded, including that they'll be provided with due care and skill. To the extent the law permits, our liability for a failure that isn't covered by a non-excludable guarantee is limited to re-supplying the affected services or paying the cost of having them re-supplied.

These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia. If any part of them turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stand. If these terms change, the new version appears here with a new date, and the terms in force when you booked are the ones that apply to your job.
