The film asks very little of you. This page covers the first 48 hours, everyday care, what to do and what to avoid, how removal works, and exactly what the 12-month warranty covers.
01 · The first 48 hours
Let it settle in.
The adhesive finishes bonding to the stone over the first two days. Give it that window and it will sit perfectly for the rest of its life.
The bond completes quietly over two days.
No heavy objects
Keep appliances, stacked plates and anything with real weight off the surface while the adhesive completes its bond.
No cleaning
Skip wiping and cleaning products entirely. If something spills, blot it gently with a dry cloth and leave the rest until the film has settled.
Keep it dry
Avoid soaking the surface or letting water pool, especially along the edges. Normal kitchen humidity is fine.
A soft cloth, mild soap, and you're done.
02 · Everyday care
A wipe, and not much else.
Day to day, the film wants exactly one thing: a soft cloth and mild soap. Harsh products won't reach your stone, but they can dull the film itself, and damage from them isn't covered by the warranty.
The routine
- Wipe with a soft microfibre cloth
- Use mild dish soap mixed with warm water
- A soft sponge for anything stubborn
- Keep using chopping boards for knives
- Keep using trivets for cookware straight off the flame
- Wipe spills when you get to them, even hours later
What the film doesn't like
- Abrasive cleaners and cream cleansers
- Scouring pads and steel wool
- Strong solvents and bleach-based cleaners
- Acidic cleaners, including vinegar-based sprays
- Cutting directly on the surface
- Extremely hot cookware placed straight onto the film
03 · The self-healing layer
Fine marks fix themselves.
The film's top layer repairs itself from fine scratches and swirl marks with nothing but warmth. Most disappear on their own in a warm kitchen. To help one along, lay a warm, damp cloth over the mark for a few minutes, or pass a hair dryer on low over it, and let the surface do the rest.
Deep cuts are different: a knife mark that goes through the top layer won't heal. That's what chopping boards are for, and if a panel ever takes real damage, that panel can be replaced on its own.

04 · If you ever want it off
Removable, without a trace.
The adhesive is engineered to release cleanly. It's simple enough to do yourself, whenever you choose, and hot water makes it even easier.
The stone underneath, exactly as it was.
Lift a corner
Ease a fingernail or a plastic card under one corner of the panel until you have enough to hold.
Add hot water
Pour hot tap water under the lifted edge as you go. The warmth softens the adhesive, and the film lets go of the stone far more easily.
Pull towards you
Pull the film up and towards you, away from the surface, so it stretches as it releases. Keep a steady pace and it comes away in one piece, with no residue left behind.

05 · The warranty
12 months, in writing.
Every installation carries a 12-month film warranty. You see the full document, exclusions included, before you pay anything.
The five failure modes
- Yellowing

If the film itself fails in any of these ways within the year, we come back and put it right.
The honest exclusions
- Normal wear from daily use
- Cuts from knives and sharp objects
- Damage from cookware straight off the flame
- Damage from harsh or abrasive cleaning products
- Misuse, neglect and intentional damage
Wear isn't failure. It's the film doing its job, and a worn panel can be refreshed on its own.
Making a claim
Send us your name, your installation date, a short description of the issue and photos of the affected area. We review it, and if the film has failed, we put it right. No forms in triplicate, no runaround.
